Welcome to the Peterborough Wave Swim Club (PWSC)

Our club is a non-profit organization and is now over 40 years old. We have both Summer and Winter swim seasons. The PWSC is a family-oriented club offering swimmers a great atmosphere to learn competitive swimming at their own pace. The club consists of swimmers between the ages of 6 and 18 years.

Indeed, quite a few of our members have only recently begun swimming competitively and we are very proud of their accomplishments. Our member base includes all of Contoocook Valley region towns, as well as towns from the surrounding area. Some of the area towns on our team include swimmers from Wilton, Wilton Center, Hollis, Dublin, Francestown, Hancock, Antrim, Amherst and Lyndenborough. We welcome membership inquiries form anyone, anywhere.

If a child can swim at least 25 yards freestyle, they can join our team. Our aim is to provide coaching and camaraderie that will lead to enjoyable and rewarding performances in swimming competitions. Swimming is more than just an exercise. PWSC swimmers learn about perseverance, determination, goal setting, achievement, dedication, loyalty and commitment. Each swimmer is a valuable member of the team and swimmers learn to cooperate with fellow teammates and adults. Swimmers and parents make new friends and, above all, swimming is fun!
