About The Wave
The Peterborough Wave Swim Club is not just another swim team. PWSC is a family-centered team, coached by Dick Cuddihee, who gives personal attention to all the swimmers. Age and ability are not factors in determining who will receive instruction and encouragement on this team. Each and every swimmer’s potential is developed.
PWSC is a parent-operated, private, non-profit organization with a volunteer Board of Directors. The swimmer’s parents compose the general membership, and they assist the Board in raising funds, planning social events, sponsoring swim meets, and more. Your swimmer and your entire family will be actively involved in PWSC. This team has a friendly, close-knit atmosphere in which all of the swimmers and their families are equally committed to the sport of swimming.
PWSC is an active member of the Granite State Swim Association (GSSA), New Hampshire Swim Association (NHSA) and of the United States Swimming, Incorporated (USS). The team is divided into several age groups, but all groups are coached by the head coach, Dick Cuddihee. All of our swimmers are given the direction to improve their swimming skills and to grow as self-disciplined, positively-motivated individuals. Our kids tend to not just good athletes, but also good kids are good students and community leaders. Most impressive is the spirit and goodwill that exists between the swimmers. From the 8 and unders to the oldest veterans, the swimmers are teammates who like and respect eachother.
